FIND

 

 

The Filipino Intercollegiate Networking Dialogue, Incorporated (FIND, Inc.) is a student-led organization comprised of Filipino-related collegiate organizations from Boston to Greensboro. FIND, Inc. was established in the spring of 1992 with the mission to promote unity and cooperation among Filipino students enrolled in institutions of higher education. FIND, Inc. hosts semi-annual national conferences for college students in hopes of preserving the Filipino culture, spreading awareness of Filipino and Filipino American issues, and promoting dialogue and action in the Filipino American community.

 

 

While attending Montclair State University, Mike was able to join FIND through their District 3 club; MUFASA (Montclair Unified Filipino American Student Association) where he helped record events mainly through videography.

Each year,  the Filipino Student Association of Rutgers Newark hosts Ms. Philippines, a pageant compromising to up to 27 different college orgs. located in North Jersey, New York and, Long Island. These pictures showcase the performances of Seaton Hall University's Isabelle Espana, the winner of Ms. Philippines '23 along with other candidates.  In addition, Alaala is a recap video from Ms. Philippines '24 that Mike shot and edited with the help of Raymond Tisch.

During his undergraduate senior year attending Montclair State University, Mike joined the elective board of Unified Asian American Student Organization as their Historian. He took a leadership role which helped record the different events of the organization , foster relationships with other Asian American clubs, and make decisions to benefit of his general body members promoting Asian American culture.
